Year 8 team success at the Salters’ Festivals of Chemistry.

Congratulations from the judges to the JAGS Year 8 team of budding chemists: Poppy Baron, Marissa Freeman, Allie Nawrat and Freya Turner, who represented us on 11th June at the London South Bank University in the Salters’ Festivals of Chemistry, in association with The Royal Society of Chemistry. They performed very well in the first of two practical challenges, a ‘Colour Creation’ task (the University Challenge), but were even more impressive in the ‘Who pinched the Salt’ analysis exercise (the Salters’ Challenge), for which they were awarded second prize and £50! Well done!
