SSLP Pupil Voice Meeting
The Southwark Schools' Learning Partnership (SSLP) theme for this year is "Pupil Voice."
A Pupil Voice meeting was held on Tuesday 29th April in order to hear from pupils about how their lessons should be run. 24 pupils from four Southwark schools met at JAGS for a session about "What makes a good lesson", led by Mrs Marchini and Miss Wynn-Jones.
Six pupils from JAGS, Alleyn's, St Michael's & All Angel's Academy, and St Saviour’s & St Olave’s CE School participated in a range of activites and worked really well in mixed groups.
The pupils produced posters and a summary sheet to take back to their schools and will be participating in ongoing discussion forums on the SSLP website (you can participate in the online discussion here).
Miss Wynn-Jones observed that "Many of the pupils left the session really excited and chatted enthusiastically about what they'd found out about life in other schools."
