Seeing stars at JAGS
This event has had to be postponed, owing to unforeseen circumstances.
…Not just stars, strictly speaking, but the moon and constellations such as the Plaedies, galaxies and nebulae should be visible through telescopes, weather permitting, here on Friday 7 November. To herald JAGS Science Week (10th-14th November), the Physics department is delighted to welcome Dr Francisco Diego, who will be presenting an illustrated talk on astronomy and the universe, open to the public, at 6.30pm in JAGS Lecture Theatre. This will be followed by an opportunity for practical observation on the fields. Interested? Contact Mr Paul Davies, Physics department, on 020 8693 1181. Entry is by ticket only and places are limited.
