JAGS wins London Schools Environment Award

We did not inherit this land from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.

JAGS is proud to have been presented with this award, but even more proud to be achieving school-wide awareness of our responsibility as a community for keeping our school green. For some time now we have been making sensible changes to our environmental initiatives: the ways in which we recycle waste, heat and light our buildings, look after our grounds, source our food.  We think of ourselves as good neighbours in our local community; everyone is actively encouraged to travel safely to and from school. Most importantly, we care about global issues and know that we have a role to play. It doesn’t stop here: we are now working towards a Eco Schools Green Flag Award.

If not here, then where? If not now, then when? If not us, then who?
