Welcome to the official website of the
James Allen's Community Music Centre (JACMC)

Through this site, you will learn about the goals and progress of the JACMC Campaign. Our concept and message for the campaign is "making space for music". View the JACMC DVD on the right for further information.

Where?
-   to be built within the school's grounds in East Dulwich Grove, London SE22

For whom?
-   a much-needed music facility for our 1070 pupils
-   local choirs, orchestras and ensembles, classical, pop, jazz and world music
-   local young people to record their own music
-   musical workshops
-   housing visiting string quartets and musical ensembles
-   allowing older people to rediscover their musical talents
-   available evenings and weekends and all day during school holidays

When?
-   Rick Mather Architects is currently undertaking a Feasibility Study to identify the most appropriate way forward
-   we anticipate construction being commenced in late 2011

Drawings being prepared by Rick Mather Architects will be available in the New JACMC Building portion of the website.

How?
-   donations from alumnae, current parents, pupils and staff, ex-parents, former staff, friends & supporters of JAGS
-   major fundraising events
-   appropriate trusts, corporations, and wealthy individual donors
-   partnership with business sponsors

You can use this site to track the progress of pledges and gifts to the campaign, and once construction begins, you will be able to follow the work as it develops. Throughout the campaign, you can visit the website and make a pledge.
