Annual Alumnae Reunion

The Alumnae Annual Reunion Lunch took place this year on Saturday 10 May here at JAGS.  As last year, almost 200 alumnae came, enjoyed an excellent lunch, and thoroughly enjoyed meeting up with old school friends.  A number of Year Group reunions also took place on the day.

The Year of  ‘78 reunion was set up by Alison Miles, who wrote:  “We had an amazing time, even the sceptics were really pleased they’d come – some from quite some distance.  In fact, the lunch wasn’t really long enough for everyone to catch up so we are all determined to keep in more regular contact, as well as try to meet up properly every couple of years at least.”  Anyone who couldn’t make the reunion but would like to get back in contact with the current Class of ’78 network, should email Alison Miles via the JAGS Development Office.

The Year of ’57 reunion was organised by Marilyn Sertin. Next year she would like a really bumper turnout since members of the year group will be having a ‘special’ birthday!

The Year of ’58 were hosted by Hilary Devonshire, who wrote to say:  “We really appreciated having a special table for our year, to celebrate 50 years between leaving school and today.  50 years of ‘catching up’ – especially with those alumnae we had not seen since then.”
